Reflection Outline
This demonstrates the research pillar because I gathered and analyzed information to improve learner performance and classroom practices. I identified learning gaps and adjusted teaching methods to suit learner needs. Research enabled me to make informed decisions that enhanced effective teaching and learning. The findings revealed that some learners experienced difficulties understanding abstract concepts when lessons relied mainly on verbal explanations. To address this challenge, I incorporated visual aids, practical demonstrations, and group activities into my lessons. I also provided remedial support to learners who required additional assistance. This research activity improved my ability to analyse learner needs and develop appropriate interventions. It reflects the research pillar because it involved systematic investigation, data collection, analysis, and application of findings to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

During WIL, I designed and improvised learning materials using cardboard, bottle tops, sticks, clay, charts, flashcards, and other recycled materials. These resources helped simplify difficult concepts and made learning more practical and enjoyable. The improvised materials improved learner understanding and participation because learners could interact directly with learning resources. The use of locally available materials reduced costs and demonstrated that quality education can still be delivered despite limited resources. This activity reflects the innovation pillar because it promoted creativity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving. It encouraged both learners and myself to utilise available resources effectively while supporting environmental sustainability.
